- Lots of ambiguity = grey line
= no clarity
Mrs. Peters - married to sheriff
- Dynamic character
- Doesn’t want to tamper with evidence
- She is round but complex
- QUEER – something that’s not right, like a strange thing
Mrs. Hale - she is dynamic because she didn’t change her opinions till near the end
- She is round
THE BIRD IS A SYMBOL IN THIS PLAY
Housing - play is set in the kitchen in the farm with a back door
- Back door refers to breaking the privacy
- Table, roller towels = men refer to her having a roller towel as
being lazy
- Fruits exploding she didn’t have time to take care of them
- QUILTs – damaged quilting shows that she was either nervous or
something bothered her.
