Its funny on the first week of school, my English class met for the second time on Thursday with my English professor. We talked a bit about the masks used in the drama industry and everyday lives. It is amazing because before this I never thought about it but we do it everyday, and for the craziest reasons. I work in the customer service industry and I have to use many faces as I realized today while at work. I have the sad face, the mad face, the don't ask me crap face, the are you that dumb face, the owe my god how cute is she/he/it face, the outrageous face, the defensive face, the I got to look like I give a damn face so I wont loose my job, the genuine face when you meet great customers, the oh my god he is a cutie customer and I can go on and on but you get the picture. Yes they are all many emotions but what's incredible is how much of an actress I am and am darn good at it. I love my job but man I see and hear the dandiest things. I now realize that you put a face on to back up what you want people/customers to think your feeling when most of the times your not actually feeling that way.
How many of my classmates can concur with me? It is truly amazing makes me excited to find out what next my professor has up her sleeves for us so we can analyze ourselves a bit.
